Cabin Rules

#1 Be safe, it is all fun and games until some one gets hurt.

#2 Relax and have fun, that’s why you are here.

#3 Make yourself at home, while you are here this is your home.

#4 Respect your neighbors, it’s just better that way. (don’t block driveways, etc.)

#5 No fighting, unless playing cards.

#6 Please remove your shoes.

#7 First come first served on reservations, we want the cabin to get used alot. From the Friday before Memorial Day until Labor Day all reservations will be for 7 days from Friday to Friday ($175). On Fridays check out is 10:30 AM and check in is 3:00 PM. Heidi will come sometime after 9:00 AM to start cleaning upstairs so please accomodate her. Also if you will not be arriving Friday or leaving before Friday please let Lori know so that we can arrange for cleaning to possibly be done on a different day.

#8 Only siblings will get a registration on the site. The kids will have to coordinate thru their parents. You are responsible for your guests while they are at the cabin.

#9 NO pets in the cabin, mancave or on the pontoon. They are welcome but must be kept outside or in the garage. NO exceptions, not even if they are in a kennel.

#10 No smoking in the cabin. Please dispose of your butts in the containers provided.

#11 All bedding must be washed, dried and put away before you leave the cabin. All beds must be made, there are extra sheets in the dressers in each room for the beds. Main level bedroom sheets are in the armoire. Sheets for sofa sleeper and airbed are in the hall closet outside the bonus room. Please put clean sheets back in dresser or cabinet where they belong so the next person can find them. There is only one set of sheets for each bed in the mancave.

#12 All laundry must be washed, dried and put away before you leave the cabin. If you wash rugs please hang them to dry and Heidi will put them down when she is done cleaning.

#13 Clean out the refrigerators and freezers and wipe up any spills. (cabin and garage refrigerators)

#14 Please do not leave any food in the refrigerators or freezers when you leave – exceptions are ketchup, mustard, salad dressings and butter.

#15 Garbage and recycling needs to be at the end of the driveway on Sunday night. (rules for recycling will be posted at the cabin)

#16 Please be careful if you are enjoying candles while at the cabin. Please light them only in the main level living area

#17 No bait in the cabin refrigerator, be sure to dispose of old bait from the garage refrigerator.

#18 In case of a power outage there are flashlights in each bedroom either on or in the nightstand.

MANCAVE

#1 Smoking is allowed on the main floor, be sure to close the door to the upper level.

#2 There is no cleaning service in the mancave. If you use the mancave you are responsible for making sure it is thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next guests. There are cleaning supplies and a vacuum cleaner in the mancave closet or bathroom.

PONTOON

#1 Gas for the pontoon can be purchased at Buck’s Resort across the lake from the cabin. Please be sure to fill up the pontoon with gas so that it is ready for the next person to use.
Life jackets, tubes, etc. are in the shed by the lake. Please put items back in their appropriate place in the shed. If life jackets need to dry they can be hung from the rafters in the shed. Please do not put these items in the main garage.

#2 Be sure to remove all garbage from the pontoon, wipe down the seats and tables. If it needs to be vacuumed there is a shop vac in the shed and a plug in on the light post by the lake. It works best if you pull the pontoon up to the shore to vacuum.
